Greenacres Fold, Oldham (SD9505, DP Earl, 2003, conf. A Newton).

Habitat:
Developing woodland.

Taxon Designation:
South Lancashire Axiophyte.

Comments:
Possibly introduced with planted trees. The small population at Oldham is the present known northern limit for mainland Britain; note however, that populations do occur further to the north in Ireland.
