Park Bridge (SD9402); Heaton Park (SD8304); Blundell’s Hill (SJ4790 & SJ4890); Westhead (SD4507); Hapton Castle Wood (SD7830).

Habitat:
Hedgerows, oak woodland and heath-land scrub.

Taxon Designation:
Endemic; South Lancashire Axiophyte.

Comments:
This British endemic species is most frequent in the south-west of Britain; the small populations in South Lancashire are a major extension of its range. Two small populations have recently been discovered in Cheshire and Whitegate and east of Holt.
