Distribution:
Locally frequent and increasing on the coastal plain between north Liverpool and Southport. Note the isolated record from near Haslingden (SD72W, DP Earl).
Habitat:
Roadside scrub, hedgerows and canal banks.
Taxon Designation:
South Lancashire Axiophyte.
Comments:
Plants closely resemble R. boudiccae A.L. Bull & Edees and may prove to be conspecific in due course.
