Near Gorton Reservoirs (SJ8996, DP Earl, 1996, BON, conf. A Newton). Plants seen at Martholme (SD7433, DP Earl, 2004) and Limbrick (SD6015, DP Earl & J Earl, 2011) require confirmation.

Habitat:
Woods, hedgerows Willow-Birch scrub on a fomer railway.

Taxon Designation:
South Lancashire Axiophyte.

Comments:
The Martholme population if correctly identified is considered a new northern limit for the British Isles.
