Rubus idaeus L. - Raspberry

This map has been generated by Mapmate 04/11/2011
Distribution:
Common and widespread.
Habitat:
Considered native in upland ash woodland around Downham and Twiston and around
flushed areas in wooded clough elsewhere in upland parts; widely established
in neglected fields and allotments; along roadsides, railway banks, streamsides,
riverbanks, woodlands.
Comments:
Readily escaping from cultivation with a considerable proportion of the South
Lancashire populations being of horticultural origin. Note the lack of records
for the reclaimed arable farmland area between Banks and Longton.
