Distribution:
A locally frequent species in the hill districts of the Hyndburn, Burnley and Pendle districts, very local further to the south and generally uncommon in the lowland areas. Note the cluster of records from the mosslands in the Rainford area SJ49 and SD40.
Habitat:
Moorland scrub and roadsides, heaths and tracks across the former mosslands.
