Tarleton village centre (SD4520, DP Earl & J Earl, 2010).

Habitat:
Planted shrubbery.

Taxon Designation:
South Lancashire Axiophyte.

Comments:
The plants may have been accidentially introduced with shrub plantings or may have arrived via bird seed dispersal. This small population is at a new northwestern limit for the British Isles. The most northerly record is just above Hull, South-West Yorkshire (vc61).
