Rubus laciniatus Willd.
- Cut-leaved Bramble
This map has been generated by Mapmate 19/11/2011
Distribution:
Well established at numerous scattered locations, but seldom an aggressively
invasive species, plants have long been known to be naturalised in the woods
at Freshfield.
Habitat:
Woods, hedgerows, railway banks, field scrub and pinewoods on the dune system.
Comments:
Neophyte, of horticultural origin, easily recognised because the leaflets are
highly dissected. This species was probably first noted from Warrington (Dunlop
1908).
