Distribution:
Wigan (SD5802, Liverpool Botanical Society Exc., det. DP Earl, BON, conf. A Newton); Radcliffe (SD7706, DP Earl, 1997); Brierfield (SD8336, DP Earl, 1997); Thurnham New Road (SD8909, DP Earl & SP Toone, 2003), a solitary plant in shrubs at Moss Nook (SJ5394, DPE & JE, 2009).

Habitat:
Usually a species of scrub, but an adventive of waste ground at Brierfield.

Taxon Designation:
South Lancashire Axiophyte.

Comments:
The Lancashire populations are at the northern limit of the species’ distribution.
