Oaks Lane, Hall i' th' Wood (SD7212, DP Earl, 1995, BON); Samlesbury (SD5930, DP Earl, 2002); clough below Coolam (SD9121, DP Earl, 2004).

Habitat:
Hedgerow, hedgebank, upland clough.

Taxon Designation:
South Lancashire Axiophyte.

Comments:
This account relates to brambles with ovate-rotund terminal leaflets resembling Rubus lintonii. Further research is required to see if the plants occurring in vc59 are conspecific with Rubus lintonii, a single undescribed taxon or very localised undescribed taxa.
