South Lancashire Axiophyte.
Comments:
The identity of the Sabden plants was established by DP Earl on a return visit
in 2009. This species could be a feature of the Ribble valley woodlands as plants
occur at Gisburn vc64. Plants along Dean Lane, Salmesbury (SD5930, DP Earl,
2002) were originally thought to be this species but the ovate to round terminal
leaflets are similar to Rubus lintonii.
