Now assumed to be very rare having only been seen recently at Bamford Wood (SD81L,
A Bamforth & N Bamforth); Roddlesworth Wood (SD62K, DP Earl & P Jepson).
Former distribution:
Dodbottom Wood, Cliviger (SD82U, Withering 1801); Fern Isle Wood (SD81T, Flora
of Rochdale).
Habitat:
Rock outcrops within hill cloughs.
Taxon Designation:

Comments:
The Bamford Wood population may have been more extensive in the past or more likely
a variety of place names may have been used for a single location.
