Distribution:
Widespread and locally common especially in the hill districts.
Habitat:
Tracksides, ditchbanks and woodlands on the former peat mosslands, moorland
fringes and roadsides, Betula - Quercus woods and cloughs.
Comments:
Previously referred to in error as Rubus fissus prior to Watson's description
of this species.
