Distribution:
Common in the hill districts and widespread in the lowlands, although generally scarce in urban areas.

Habitat:
Woodland ground flora, heaths, moorland scrub, roadside verges and hedgerows.

Comments:
One of the easier brambles to recognise with attractive, starry pink flowers and the filaments not exceeding the styles.
