Locally abundant in the Ormskirk area with scattered populations across to Mossley
(SD9702) and Laneshaw Bridge (SD9240).
Habitat:
Hedgerows, roadsides and woods.

Comments:
In the British Isles this species appears to be most frequent in the western
districts of Cheshire and South Lancashire.
