Bramble'
Distribution:
Very common on the coastal plain and extending through the Ribble valley to
the Whalley district but very local elsewhere.
Habitat:
Hedgerows and wood borders.
Taxon Designation:
Regional Endemic; South Lancashire Axiophyte.
Comments:
Although not described,
the known distribution of this bramble extends from Flintshire and Cheshire
in the south to the north Lancashire borders and across to the Long Preston
area of Yorkshire in the east.

South Lancashire 'snapshot flora' 1995-2005. A revised map needs to be created
to show the additional records made since 2005.
