Distribution:
Widespread, frequent about Liverpool and Ormskirk and extending along the river
valley systems where plants are often locally abundant.
Habitat:
In woods, scrub and on railway banks, frequently on the red sandstone and clays.
Comments:
Most populations are the white flowered form. The distinct pink flowered variant
is occasionally found as at George’s Lane, Wallsuches, Horwich (SD6511).
