Former Distribution:
Fo Edge (SD81J, Wood, 1840); Green Clough (SD82Z, W Wilson, 1818, MANCH); moors above The Scouts (SD82T, Rev. W Wood, Buxton 1849). The record from moors above Micklehurst (SD90R, Anon, 1805) was probably in Cheshire vc58.

Habitat:
Formerly found on stony ground on moorland and screes.

Taxon Designation:
Species of Conservation Importance in North West England; Lancashire BAP Provisional Long List.

Comments:
Considered extinct, with the last record traced being from Fo Edge in 1869.
