Along a passage at Ashton-in-Makerfield (SJ5899, DP Earl, 2009); pathside at
Bamber Bridge (SD5526, DP Earl, P Lockwood, P Tipping & J Somerville, 2011).
The var ‘variegata’ has been recorded from: Ruff Lane (SD4107, MP
Wilcox, 2004); Cable Street, Formby (SD3007, PH Smith & MP Wilcox, 2006),
this variety is of horticultural origin.
Habitat:
Roadside; abandoned nursery.
Comments:
Neophyte, considered native to China, Japan, Taiwan, Bhutan and Nepal.
