This species was first found in the Salford Borough at Dales Brow where the old
railway crosses the brook (SD7700, DP Earl, 1995, conf. Alan Newton, BON). Further
populations have been found at Ellenbrook (SD7301, DP Earl, 2002); Swinton (SD7702,
DP Earl, 2003); developing woodland between the Glazebrook and Manchester Ship
Canal (SJ7091, DP Earl & P Bowdler, 2009).
