Plants found in developing woodland by the Glazebrook and Manchester Ship Canal, Cadishead (SJ7091, DP Earl & P Bowdler, 2009) are thought to be Polypodium interjectum and it is possible that this is the identity of the plants occurring at the other locations in the Salford Borough. Critical determination of voucher material is clearly required. Note the record from the Chorlton Ees area (SJ8193, D Bishop & MPG Tolfree) which has actually being verify as being Polypodium interjectum by Dr. F Rumsey.
