There is a historic record from a bank-side nearly opposite the Grove Inn, Higher Broughton (SD8300 , Wood 1840). Note the recent record from the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal, near Irlam Locks (SJ7294, D Bishop, 2010) which could either be from Irlam or Flixton.
