Meadow behind Kersal Moor (Wood 1840); "Most abundant and a characteristic
plant of the locality in the meadow land by Singleton Brook and also more rarely
by Bleakley's works" (Melvill 1882); Eccles (SJ7798, J Shaw, Grindon
1859).
Plants are still to be found near the River Irwell in the Bury Borough (SD8002,
I Pringle, 2009).
