A Marsh Orchid with reddish-purple flowers the identity of which needs to be established
is currently placed here. Good populations were found between Blackleach Reservoir
and the M61 (SD7303, SD7403 & SD7404, DP Earl & MPG Tolfree, 2003). Plants
have also been found in damp grassland in the Glazebrook Valley (SJ7695, Manchester
Field Club Excursion, 2003).
