Locally frequent close by to the Manchester Ship Canal about Cadishead and Irlam;
now well established in the north of the Salford Borough having been sown on reclaimed
slag heaps, colliery spoil, disused railways, former tips, etc. where ‘wildflower’
grasslands have been created.
