Extinct. Formerly classed as common on the peat mosses: Barton Moss (SJ7396, Grindon 1859); Chat Moss (SJ7196, P Yates, 1908). Known to have occurred at Kersal Moor (SD8102, Buxton 1849) although not seen by the Lancashire Botanists of the time for many years.
