Hieracium consociatum / Hieracium
argillaceum complex

This map has been generated by Mapmate 23/01/2012
Originally recorded as Hieracium acuminatum Jordan following on from
a taxomomic revision it is now known that these records relate to either Hieracium
consociatum or Hieracium argillaceum. Such plants are locally
common as a colonist of derelict land and are particularly abundant where colliery
spoil has been deposited to form embankments along Bridgewater's Canal between
Bothstown and Worsley.
The identity of plants formerly recorded as Hieracium acuminatum needs to be established and the records edited accordingly.
