A localised member of the woodland ground flora that usually grows in shaded habitats
were the soil is moist as along the wooded sections of the old railway at Roe
Green and above The Cliff at Broughton (SD8201). Recorded for Agecroft Clough
(SD7901, Grindon 1859).
