Locally frequent on marshy ground and in tall-herb communities by water bodies
in the north and west of the Salford Borough. Occasionally found as a colonist
of bare ground and arable fields and observed on relatively dry ground along cultivated
fields near Little Woolden Hall (SJ6894, Edmondson 1953).
