Observed at a fishing pond, Wardley (SD7502, DP Earl, 1991); recorded from Ellenbrook (SD7301, Greater Manchester Plant Atlas, c. 1991). These records could well be deliberate introductions.

In the past plants of Bogbean were seen in ‘a profusion of bloom’ every year on Chat Moss.
