There is a Greater Manchester Plant Atlas record for Worsley (SD7500). There is
also an unconfirmed record from Salford (SJ8398, DP Earl & SP Toone, 2003).
Oenothera biennis is now considered to be quite rare and plants with
small flowers may be the hybrid Oenothera x fallax or other
members of this complex genus.
