Plants occur at similar sites to Reseda luteola and were found to be most frequent close by to the Manchester Ship Canal at Cadishead, Irlam and Salford Quays during the 1991-1992 survey.
Note the early record for this species from the bamks of the River Irwell, Irlam (SJ79H, J. Shaw, Grindon 1859).
