A localised plant of light soils, walls and pavements about the city centre and
in the suburbs. Plants were also found on old railway ballast in the Cadishead/Irlam
district. Known historically from old walls and paths at Kersal Moor (Melvill
1882). There have been recent taxanomic
changes to Sagina apetala and the details for this page are to be revised.
