There is an old record for Worsley (SD7400, J Evans, Grindon 1859). Records
obtained by the Greater Manchester Ecology Unit require verification. A very robust
voucher specimen of a plant growing along the Bridgewater Canal, Patricroft (SJ79T,
MPG Tolfree, 2000) may well be this species.
