return visit in 2009; at the old canal basin at Boothstown (SD7200, 1991) prior
to The Moorings development, perhaps still there; Little Hulton (SD7204, Greater
Manchester Plant Atlas).
There are historic records for the left side of the road from Hope House to Eccles
(SJ7898, Wood 1840) growing with Acorus (Swee Flag); once plentiful in the Eccles
pits and a pit near Slack Lane, Eccles (SJ7798, Grindon 1859); Chat Moss
(SJ79C, Anon., 1922).
