Veronica hederifolia subsp. hederifolia L. - Ivy-leaved Speedwell

This map has been generated by Mapmate 17/01/2012

This subspecies is thought to be an occasional casual on at the margins of arable fields in the west of the Salford Borough. The author saw plants with some amazingly vivid blue-flowers about a small area of arable land near Leigh, (SJ6796, SJ6895 & SJ6896, 1991). The additional records from the Chat Moss area and near Eccles (SJ79U, 1997) were supplied by MPG Tolfree for the South Lancashire Flora Project (1995-2005).
