A rare plant in the Salford Borough that has been found on a few heathy tracks
in the Chat Moss area. There is an interesting inner city record from Buile Hill
(SJ79Z, MPG Tolfree, 1995).
Plants formerly occurred at Kersal Moor (SD8102, Wood 1840) and Cutacre
Clough (SD7003, Greenless & Holden 1920). Return visits to the historic
locations to search for Heath Speedwell may prove productive.
