Occurs along a path to the River Irwell, between works at Clifton (SD7903) which
links with an old records from by the River Irwell below Clifton aqueduct (Wood
1840). Plants have also found at Kersal Vale (SD8201); Worsley (SD7400); Swinton
Park (SD7800).
There are additional historic records for Little Hulton (SD70B, R Hampson, Grindon
1859) and Kersal Moor (SD8102, Grindon 1859).
There is a very early record for the adjoining Bury Borough from Rainsough Brow
(SD8002, G Caley, 1801).
