A casual species found at Worsley Road, near Patricroft Bridge (SJ7698, DP Earl,
1991) amongst newly-sown grass; Eccles (SJ7798, DP Earl, 1991); Moss Colliery
Road, Clifton (AR Franks, 1994).
Note the recent records for Alopecurus myosuroides from Astley in the
Wigan Borough (SJ6999 & SJ7099, DP Earl & P Bowdler, 2007) where plants
were locally abundant around the margins of arable fields.
