There are recent records from heathland near Clifton Tip (SD7902, DP Earl, J Earl
& SP Toone, 2003); Pendlebury (SD70V, J Clarke, 2004). Found in (SD70B, Liverpool
Botanical Excursion, 1997) and possible at Cutacre Clough. The lack of records
for the mossland districts is most surprising but there is a record from the railway
banks, Barton Moss (SJ7397, Institute of Terrestial Ecology, 1979).
Formerly at Kersal Moor (SD8102, Wood 1840 & Melvill 1882)
where this species could possibly still occur.
