First recorded from waste ground, Salford Quays (SJ8097, AR Franks, 1992) and
since found to be frequent on ballast, bare ground and pavements particularly
close by to the railway system in inner city Salford. Plants have also been found
at Boothstown (SD7200, DP Earl, 2003); fields west of Holm Leigh Farm (SJ6895,
Manchester Field Club Excursion, 2003); from (SJ79N, AR Locksley, 2003) which
may be a Salford record; Cadishead (SJ7091, DP Earl & P Bowdler, 2010).
