Neophyte. The earliest record traced is from a wall above River Irwell north of Regent Bridge, Salford City Centre (SJ8197, AR Franks, 1996). Several additional bird-sown plants have since been found on waste ground and railway sidings in the City Centre. Plants are also established by the Manchester Ship Canal (SJ79N) and along the Bridgewater Canal, Worsley (SD7500, DP Earl, 2012).
