A well established plant climbs amongst scrub along the disused railway line at Dales Brow (SD7700). Plants are also established by the A6, Salford (SJ8198, DP Earl & J Earl, 2004). This species is also recorded from the Irwell Valley at Ringley Wood (SD7604, Rev CE Shaw, 1989) from the Bury Metropolitan Borough side of the river.
