Found on what remained of the relic bogs of the Woolden and Chat Moss complex
(SJ6893, SJ6994 & SJ7198, DP Earl, 1991). Return visits to the above sites
are required to see if this species is still extant in the Salford Borough.
JC Melvill noted that only one or two good plants remained at Kersal Moor (SD8201,
c. 1881).
