First observed in a planted shrubbery above The Cliff woodlands at the top of
Lower Broughton Road (SD8201, DP Earl, J Earl & MR Pickles, 1991). Additional
amenity plantings have since been found at Irlam (SJ79H, MPG Tolfree, 1999); railway
embankment, Salford Crescent (SJ8198, DP Earl, 2001); Ellenbrook (SD7201, DP Earl,
2002).
