Because of the complexity of this genus the associated distribution map has been produced from the Larix species and hybrid records submitted by various recorders to create an aggregate map.
Mature larches trees occur at a number of plantations to the north and west of Worsley. In recent times additional records have been made from new plantings as at Kersal, Seedley and Irlam o’ th’ Heights.
