A planted tree that was recorded from Blackleach Reservoir (SD7304, DP Earl & MPG, Tolfree, 2003). It is now known that almost all of the trees formerly referred to as Salix fragilis  - Crack-willow are actually this hybrid. The revisions to the records for Salix fragilis and associated hybrids will be carried out later this year.
