Now becoming established near habitation.

Habitat:
Woods, amenity plantings, waste ground, railway banks, pavements and wall tops.

Comments:
Neophyte, native to Chile and Argentina. The earliest record traced is from Walton (SJ39S, V Gordon, 1995). Plants are frequently bird-sown from nearby garden plants.
