Distribution:
Occasionally planted in the hill districts, less frequently in the lowland areas.
Habitat:
Plantations, ornamental woods and parklands.
Comments:
Neophyte, native to western North America. The lower leave surface is green throughout.
This species is widely planted often with Picea sitchensis.
