Widely planted but not common.
Habitat:
Estate woodlands, ornamental woodlands, Arboreta and plantations.
Comments:
Neophyte, planted, native to western North America. The earliest record traced
is from the Blackburn area (SD62, c. 1987) but trees were no doubt planted in
the vice-county prior to that date.
